I just came across this on the net, a variation. I don't know if you can
get butterscotch chips in Italy...

Butterscotch Cornflake Cookies

I was given this recipe by my mother. I have four children and a
in-home
daycare. I make it because it's fast and easy (I've also used it for
potlucks), adults seem to love them as much as the children. They
seem to
be addictive. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

5 c. corn flakes cereal
1 bag of butterscotch chips
3 T. of peanut butter

Directions:

Melt the peanut butter and butterscotch chips together in a double
broiler,
stirring constantly. When melted pour over corn flakes. Drop mixture
by
spoonfuls onto cookie sheet and then refrigerate for about 1 hour.
Take off
of cookie sheet and put into airtight container then keep in
refrigerator.

I've seen the images on google. No! We haven't. What are they made of?

This recipe is very very good. I think I would like it very much!
Can I replace butterscotch with some other things?
Thank you Wayne for this recipe!

I don't have a package handy, so I'm not sure of the ingredients. I
suspect there is some type of fat, butter flavor, brown sugar, vanilla. I
couldn't find a list of ingredients on Hershey's website.

I haven't made these cakes in years but you can add whatever you like I
used to add dried fruit or coconut too

Ahhh! OK! But they seemed to me like peanuts!!! If I should mix butter and
sugar I would probably obtain a soft mixture !!!
