Hello,
I need a small microwave to but on pantry closet shelf, maybe .7 or .8 cubic feet to use for defrost, popcorn and reheating of coffee etc. I see some GE ones at Sams for 39$. Willing to paymore if need be for maybe a better one. Thanks for any pointers. j |

At work we have a couple of GE for $69 that are 1100 or 1200 watt. They are very fast and do a good job. OTOH, I just bought a $42 700 watt while my wife is incapacitated for a few week. It heats her lunch and coffee and takes a bit longer to make popcorn. Since it will be rarely used after this I went for cheap, but it does the job. In our kitchen we have a OTR convection/micro what was $500+. Different situation, different values. There I could justify the higher cost. |
