My fridge has an automatic ice maker. It is also self defrosting. My
problem is that ice from the icemaker gets thawed and refrozen so much that it sticks into a large clump of ice in the back of the tray. It would seem that if I had an insulated tray that it might slow the process. I took some cardboard and put it behind the two sides of the tray that touch the walls and on the bottom. This seemed to slow it a little but not enough to stop it. Anyone have another solution? |
