I haven't had a root canal in nearly a month (!) and my favorite post-procedure nosh is a good ol' Blue Raspberry Icee. I think that this flavor should available wherever Icees are sold, and should be the only Icee flavor one can ALWAYS count on finding. <a soup-spoon full of creamy peanut butter ranks second> |

This reminds me of '99 when I broke my jaw (and badly bit my tongue as part of the deal) playing ultimate frisbee. For 6 weeks I couldn't eat solid food. My particular favorites, and probably 90% of my caloric intake, were fruit smoothies (from the now-defunct Crazy Carrot chain in Minneapolis) and beer (tasted good, nice carb level, and helped with the swelling). Some of my friends in frisbee had a cookout a few weeks after my injury, and make me a fresh grilled bratwurst *smoothie*. Now that was disgusting. -- Richard W Kaszeta http://www.kaszeta.org/rich |

(The last time I went they had stopped selling ice cream.) -bwg |
