I was watching an episode of everyday cooking today and they showed a
recipe which called for a homemade butterscotch mix to be poured on top of fruit and baked. The butterscotch was basically butter, brown sugar and cinamon heated at a medium temperature. It was then brushed over the fruit. I would like to take the mixture and make a big batch to have ready anytime I would like it, instead of making some each time ( plus I can use smaller batches ). So I was wondering if the butterscotch can be stored so it does not spoil, but does not become hard. Thanks The reply-to email address is . This is an address I ignore.
