Default Not exactly a Vermont Cook-In

My Dad's coming for a visit in July and we're having an open house/house
warming/BBQ/Meet my dad/let's just have a nice time sort of party for the
people who couldn't make it to our housewarming in December because it
snowed heavily that day.

If you're a regular here and in the area (central Vermont), you're free to
stop by (email me for directions). You don't have to bring food if you
don't want to, and we've not planned out the menu yet but it'll be summery
foods and things cooked on the grill (though my grill is sorta small an not
very great, I plan on having a lot of other stuff).

We're having it July 23rd and we're inviting a load of people from our
offices (not expecting many to show up), the neighborhood (six other
households), and online. People will likely start showing up around noon
and stay until whenever.

I won't have any extra beds to put people up, but I do have six acres of
woods and a decent-sized lawn. So if people wanted to sleep in tents
there'd be no problem with that.

I have no idea what the weather will be like at all. The weather this year
has been so bizarre...

Anyway, y'all are invited.

To quote the drunk at the restaurant in Hitchcock's film, 'The Birds', "It's
the end of the world!" It's weird here, too. My LLL is in Toledo, OH and
it's about 100F degrees there today and humid. Way down here in west TN we
haven't even hit 90F. Bizarre is a good word.

Ditto... wish I could say I'd be anywhere near Vermont but it's unlikely.

Was in Brattleboro y'day, sweltering, and will be collecting the LIT
on the 23rd, otherwise, a short hop further sounds wonderful. Another
time perhaps.
