Default Recommendation for baby food book

I need a recommendation for a baby food book. I would like to give one
to my sister-in-law who just had her first baby.

I am looking not so much for a book with recipes as for a book with
complete lists of when and how each type of food should be introduced.

I raised my babies on the Super Baby Food book by Ruth Yaron, and I
would give it without hesitation if it wasn't for its strong emphasis on
a vegetarian diet. Any other suggestions?

Yep. That's a good book. I used it for reference when I had Nathan and the
"What to expect...." series books are a good reference source too.

I have The Well Fed Baby Book and I now find it nicely organized with
lists of foods for different stages of development and easy and tasty
recipes with not-too-hard-to-find ingredients. However, when I was a
first time mom, I would have appreciated a book with lots of pretty
pictures and good recipes.

I liked the Organic Baby and Toddler Cookbook for the pictures and the
few recipes I tried in there (borrowed from the library) were good - it
has a UK bent to it, though. Some of the info presented in it goes
against what is currently recommended (ex. weaning), so I wouldn't get
it for a first foods kind of book - I'd use it more for inspiration.
And I still plan on getting it some day!
