I have a mitt and I think I'd spring for the extra money to get gloves
instead. The mitt is great for somethings, but it's a little to hard to
get a good grip with for others. I'd like the option of both

Gotta agree with ya Siobhan. I have the mitts and you really can't get
burned in 'em but I'd prefer gloves. Picking up something flat is a
bit of a problem.
