No to worry John. You could be dropped on your head and no one would

I'm fairly convinced he was dropped on his head in the 1970's since he
seems to be stuck in that time-frame.

OB Food: Breakfast for dinner. 2 large eggs into which I whisked a
drizzle of cold water, S&P and some shredded Monterey Jack cheese then
scrambled in a small amount of butter. Three strips of crisp bacon (not
cooked in that skillet - I bake bacon on a rack on a broiler pan and
freeze it in portions then reheat it in the microwave). Also had a
slice of buttered whole wheat toast, with a glass of very cold milk.

That's pretty scary, John. You sound "wobbly."
Maybe time to hire Old World Yard Company to mow?

Your yard is tiny and flat.Â* I've never fallen mowing our lawn and there

Thanks for the update. A week or so in the hospital must have been
pretty serious though. I wish him well. I like Sheldar.

Hopefully his wife is smuggling in a flask of Crystal Palace each
evening. Not having that would be the worst part of a hospital stay. lol

You can get alcohol from the pharmacy if the doctor approves it. I saw
a nurse giving a beer to a patient. Better than the withdrawal symptoms.

When I was in the hospital recovering from bypass surgery one of my
roomies was given a beer or two every day.

I doubt if the pharmacy stocks enough for Popeye to get a slight buzz.

It was common to use it for patients with kidney stones. Back in my
nurses aide days, I'd occasionally get to turn bartender <grin>. I
might add, these were patients who were otherwise healthy and it would
be limited to 1 an hour (ie: you didn't get drunk as thats about the
burnoff rate for a healthy male).

Does that mean if I'm awake 8 hours a day, I can have 16 drinks a day?

Its not a good idea to drink starting out in the morning. You'll be drowsy all day. Unless maybe its Four Loco.
