My day started with freezing hundreds of pounds of Mackrel in a big tub of water and then cutting them up into various size pieces appropriate for the sea lions, dolphins, elephant seals and orca. I was not thrilled that my wife bought some for supper one night, but it turned out to be surprisingly tasty. |

When I used to fish, I loved freshwater trout caught within, oh say, six months of when the hatchery dumped them. Hatchery chow makes trout taste good. The meat is white. One of the two lowest-ranking trolls here (Bruce & Pamela) has accused the other of faking a post from me, which was actually a post I made. Should I feel honoured or insulted? The last time Pamela returned, I was planning on taking it easy on her because of how stupid she ended up looking the previous time I helped her out with her net-sleuthing. I felt sort of responsible because I let her have enough to rope to trip over, but instead she ended up hog-tying herself into a most undignified position. What should I do? I feel like I should no longer try to be Mr. Nice Gut. |

The best salmon I had was years ago, we were doing the yearly bbq at the cottage for the mens senior soccer team and one fellow came late, having just arrived back from Newfoundland. He had a huge salmon his father had caught that morning. We buttered some foil, laid the salmon on it, on to the bbq and let it slowly cook. To say it was divine, was an understatement, never had anything so good before or after. Yes, I have had fresh trout I liked as well. I'm afraid it's difficult to find good kippered herring anywhere here now. Don't know if its the same across the Pond too. |

I was in chat a few times he was there and we was really offensive with the women in there. They dealt with it by ignoring him. He could not stand to be ignored and he went berserk and was swearing and carrying on at them. I have nothing to say about Julie. There are a couple people here who often said that if she left the group we would continue to talk about her. That proved to be wrong, but some of those who had said it would get bored and troll for comments about her. Unfortunately, Kuthe seemed determined to take her place as the main topic of conversation. LIke Julie, he was easy enough to filter, but the even bigger problem was the nymshifting assholes who were here only to harass him. The poor sick assholes all seemed to feed off their mutual dysfunction. With Julie and John gone and the nymshifting trolls having nothing to satisfy their need for mental masturbation, this has become a much more pleasant group. I see a lot fewer posts and my filter log needs to be deleted frequently. |

Andy used to call me on the phone. I kept trying to tell him I don't like talking on the phone. He wouldn't stop. If I didn't answer he'd leave long sad-sack messages, boo hoo, you don't like me. Then he'd call right back and apologize for bothering me. Minutes later he'd call back again and accuse me of avoiding him. Dude, leave me the heck alone! He finally stopped when I posted publicly to RFC saying I'm tired of trying to be polite. Stop calling me! He went ballistic and started cussing, telling me and everyone else to F*** off. I never wished him dead, although I can't say I was surprised to find out he'd offed himself. He was in serious need of medication. > With Julie and John gone and the nymshifting trolls having nothing to > satisfy their need for mental masturbation, this has become a much more > pleasant group.Â* I see a lot fewer posts and my filter log needs to be > deleted frequently. Funny, my filters keep increasing. Cross posting twits and nymshifters are still at it but I don't see most of them. OB Food: Biscuits and milk gravy. ![]() Jill |

He certainly went ballistic in chat. Your experience with his phone calls reminded me of the phone messages my SiL used to get from her partner's ex wife. She was nuttier than a fruitcake. SiL used to forward the messages to me so I would know what was going on. One night she left a dozen messages in the space of two hours and they got more and more bizarre. She was wanted BiL to contact their son and have him call the president of her internet provider to restore her account and then he was to call her and let her know. Apparently it was essential that she have it up and running by the next morning because he was waiting to hear confirmation about a job offer....as vice president of a major bank, which was either a very extreme fantasy or just an outright lie. As the messages went on she became increasingly hysterical and sobbed about how she just wanted to see her babies....all three of which were in their 40s and who wanted nothing to do with her. > > I never wished him dead, although I can't say I was surprised to find > out he'd offed himself.Â* He was in serious need of medication. > >> With Julie and John gone and the nymshifting trolls having nothing to >> satisfy their need for mental masturbation, this has become a much >> more pleasant group.Â* I see a lot fewer posts and my filter log needs >> to be deleted frequently. > > Funny, my filters keep increasing.Â* Cross posting twits and nymshifters > are still at it but I don't see most of them. It's a lot more peaceful in here. That's for sure. > OB Food:Â* Biscuits and milk gravy. ![]() I am about to have a nice fresh hot cross bun from my favourite bakery. I love those things but have been sticking closely to my diet and not cheating. My wife gives up stuff like that for Lent. The baker only makes them during Lent, so this morning was the last chance to get some. |
