Trump is gone now. He lost the election and he didn't get impeached a 2nd time (boohoo, Nancy). Time to quit bitching about Trump and move on. If he runs again, I suspect that would be a big fail. IMO, he's lost most of his voter base just in the past few months being a sore loser. And people also need to quit pointing fingers at why the Covid virus is so bad. Let's just move on to try to fix the problem. The only ones to blame are the people themselves for not using common sense to avoid a virus. That's been known for 50 years now. It's nobody's fault but your own if you get it. |

The common cold is more difficult to avoid, there's no vaccine... perhaps lots of hot chicken soup... Jewish Penacilain style, rich and golden. |

You must be referring to all the antibiotics in the chicken meat. |

I always keep some handy for fending off a cold. Many times, I'll feel like I'm coming down with a cold and I'll immediately go to the chicken soup. Most times, I don't get the cold and am fine the next day. Hot showers are good too...warm moist heat. That's good for lung issues and also back muscle pain. Doctor recommended. |

Agreed, hot showers are good as the steam loosens respiratary congestion. The heat relieves back ache as I suffer from arthritus of the spine and spinal stenosis. I also use a nebulizer to help lubricate the airways, sometimes with just saline and sometimes with saline and albuterol. A nebulizer turns the solution into a fine mist so it can penetrate deep into the airways. Albuterol relaxes that tight chest tension making mucous easier to expel. A nebulizer is a good tool to have when one suffers from congestion due to respiratory issues only it requires a Rx, also an Rx for the saline and albuterol. The nebulized medication works a lot better than those puffers because it also relieves nasal congestion. And long hot showers several times a day is not really a possibility. A nebulizer treatment takes about 10 minutes and doesn't require getting soaking wet in a shower, plus saline solution and albuterol solution works a lot faster than plain tap water. The saline/albuterol ampuals dispensed from the pharmacy are sterile, hot tap water is far from sterile. Actually cold tap water is purer than hot tap water... the bottom portion of hot water tanks are filthy with microbe laden sludge... just one of the reasons I had a tankless on demand hot water systen installed. sometimes with just saline, sometimes with saline and albuterol. |
