"Probably will only pay attention to the commercials, anyway."
This always cracks me up each year.

Think about it. People hate commercials and have no interest in
football, yet every February these same people make special food for the
game they don't like. They even turn that into a party. Then they sit in
front of the TV for 4 hours just to watch the commercials.

Too funny.

I noticed in the TV listings the night before (or maybe it was on game
day, I don't recall) there was a show featuring the most popular
commercials that ran during the Superbowl in the last 20 years. No, I
didn't watch it. Don't ask me why anyone would want to watch an
hour-long program of old commercial - interrupted by commercials. LOL
If you really want to see them, they're on Youtube.

I almost feel badly that I now PVR a lot of shows. I can record
programs that are airing at weird hours, that conflict with other good
shows, or I can record something on the satellite while watching a show
on Netflix. That gives me a wide range of good shows to watch at my
leisure. Better than that, I can skip through commercials, and there are
often a lot of commercials.
