I understand that in her dissertation about this group, the names have
been changed to expose the guilty.

Thanks for that very full response to my question Daniel. So there is no magic about cleaning these curious pans but the preferable course is to chuck them away when they get too dirty! Especially if they have cost as little as they did to me!

I did suspect that when I saw the advice on the GreenPan website which advocated wiping that bonded brown goo with a sponge and soapy water. It must be a bit blindingly obvious that anyone going to the site for information on such a subject has already tried all the most basic cleaning methods and found that they dont work!!!

You were one of those who objected to people talking about her and said
that if she left the group we would still talk about here. This is the
second time you have tried trolling to get people talking about her. I
think the rest of us have been pretty good about not talking about her.

The takeaway being that you're still talking about her.

The Frugal Gourmet used to mention that all the time. Hot pan, cold
oil, food won't stick.

Nah, I made that up. I did believe she was doing that when I first came
here years ago. No way could one person have so many health and food
problems. "Fact is often stranger than fiction."

If you had paid attention, Dave, it was GM that mentioned her then I
responded. If it bothers you so much to mention Julie, I'll continue to
do so. lol

I doesn't bother me is people say that we will persist in talking about
her even if she leaves the group and then comes back and tries to troll
us into a conversation about her. It just needed to be pointed out that
we were not talking about it and they were the ones who tried to
instigate it.

So long as no one tries posting in my name, I'll be OK. Unpronounceable, so not a good choice.
