Edmunds can do whatever pseudomath they want to fool idiots like YOU. I know how MPG is calculated, miles PER gallon! It's a simple ratio!

But John! If gallons is always zero, it is not a simple ratio, it is
instead an undefined operation.

In other words, what you are suggesting is mathematically impossible.

Those mathematicians who can't divide by zero need to expand their
minds with some good ol' LSD. It's the next level of consciousness.

No, dividing by zero goes to infinity in it's limit. And not every infinity is equal either! Consider the set of counting integers. Infinite, correct? Now consider the set of ALL integers. Also infinite, correct BUT, you can subtract the set of counting integers from all integers and still have an infinite set!

Because infinity is not a number, it's a concept!

True. But simply dividing miles by gallons is undefined if gallons is 0.

So how many miles per kilowatt? You are still using energy and there is
a cost factor. MPKW would be a good selling point.

An electric car will go about 3 to 4 miles on a kW of electricity.

So, about half the price of gas per mile. That is based on today's
typical prices but I think in 5 or 10 years oil will be more costly and
the price of electric cars will come down.

Most electric is produced by burning fossil fuels, solar and wind is a
drop in the bucket... wait'll you see what it costs to put air in your
tires with a compressor running by burning fossil fuel.... and where
will you get lubrication for axles, trannnys, hinges, etc., bear
grease? From kindergarten physics I learned that nothing is free.
Producing clean low cost energy is still light years away.... we'll
need to wait for the Aliens to arrive to teach us, most likely they
will annialate us.... try to imagine the Biden schmuck negotiating
with the Aliens. Ahahahahahahahahahahahaha. . .
The most educated part of Biden is his anus, it controls all his shit.

There are a lot of Teslas on this rock. It's surprising given the high cost of electricity on this rock. Gasoline is expensive too so that helps. My driving will cost around $.09/mile in electricity. I get around 22 MPG = $.15/mile.

It's not only Edmunds.Â* Consumer Reports in just one other.Â* I guess you
