No, he did not commit suicide. He died from AIDS. I know because I contracted with him to do culinary demonstrations across the country for a client.

I think it's been 20 years now since Google took up the Usenet archive (from Deja?) and swore to maintain it? Instead they naturally mangled it and renamed it 'google groups'. Hence all the stupid posts from clueless morons. |

They set up a way for people to access [some] newsgroups then pretty much walked away from it. There's no money in it. Jill |

I did that for a while too. There were one or to gmail users making contributions to the group and a couple dozen idiots, or, more likely, 3 or 4 each using multiple usernames. |

Well, it's never been the same since they took it over. > There's no money in it.
