Default Does anyone remember Franco Palumbo

I went to school with Chef Franco at the University of Massachusetts, we were both in the restaurant and hotel program and members of Alpha Tau Gamma fraternity.
Franco was a very talented chef, with an incredable sense of humor. He had come to Umass after graduating from the CIA which at that time was still based on the campus of Yale university.
While at Umass he worked holidays at Mount Snow in Vermont and Martha's Vinyard during summer break. After collage he enroled in Weight Wachers and lost a lot of weight.
He was offered a job with Weight Wachers as their Executive Chef. I am not sure how many years he worked for them, but I believe that during that time he was on the TV show "whats my line" as
" The Chef who lost his pot".
He at some time, I think afer Weight Wachers had his TV show "Were Cooking Now". And opened a renowned restaurant in Provincetown Mass.
I had lost contact with Franco while he was working at Weight Wachers as I moved west to follow my culinary career.
I am proud to say that Chef Franco was a friend.
