When I want to buy a supermarket hot sauce, why do they all have sugar in them as a major ingredient? When I make my own, I don't add sugar, or maybe a minimal amount. And it tastes fine. |

My local health food store has a peanut butter machine/station. Just add peanuts. I know that the commercial peanut butter is difficult for me to digest. Very difficult. Yet I love the stuff. |

I know that the commercial peanut butter is difficult for me to digest. Very difficult. Yet I love the stuff. Many years ago, I used to travel into the city (Sydney) to a health food store for freshly made peanut butter, almond butter and others. They had a machine and would make it on the spot for you. It's just so much better than the usual supermarket bought peanut butters. It had a short shelf life, but it never lasted long enough for that to be an issue for me anyway. |

So I'm sticking with peanut butter for now. |

One never knows how long they were kept in some warehouse before ALDI bought them for distribution. Not having ever had any food from ALDI, I cant speak for their quality standards to begin with. There are certainly other stores and brands I will not buy nuts from because they taste odd. This is especially true for cashews. You could say Im picky, but a significant portion of my diet is nuts. |
