Celery from two different stores did this. I didn't even buy the celery in one case. The clerk at the store said the whole batch did that. |

That is not what I said at all. I said that I thought they were selling produce that was past its prime. That is not always the case. It was recently with zucchini, yellow peppers and cucumbers. All were wrinkled/sorry. I have seen bad peppers at many stores, including Whole Foods and Central Market. It happens. I did buy rotted onions at Costco. I don't think I ever said anything about their potatoes. The bags are so large, I would never buy them as we'd never eat that many. |

As I said... Something was wrong with it. A clerk at Yakima Produce said that theirs did the same thing. Looked good when it arrived. Next day it was wilted. |

I planned to watch that one but I fell asleep, sadly. It was a late night show. |

Kim chee is considered to be the lifeblood of the Koreans. My wife and I like fresh Korean style kim chee but we've had the really old stuff served in small portions and it's just wonderful. I'm hoping to see it more in restaurants - but not in my refrigerator. ![]() The Koreans make purpose-built refrigerators for kim chee. They are impressive appliances that cost a lot of money. My guess is that the big expensive ones are a status symbol for the Koreans. |

Just like when he's asked where all that electricity comes from for him to put-put around in his car all we're met with is dead silence. When he's asked why he doesn't install solar panels and REALLY get off the grid all we are met with again is dead silence. Talk is cheap and he talks a good game; around and around in circles. |
