I wear bifocals but I like to read in bed and that is difficult with
those things, so I got readers for reading in bed. I used to use the
cheap drug store cheaters, but I can't use them anymore because I have
an astigmatism in my left eye.

I bought a prime rib roast there to be cooked for New Years Day. It was
great, and it was way cheaper than the butcher or the grocery store.
The only negative was that it had been too well trimmed. They had
trimmed too much of the fat off. It was nice not to have to pay prime
rib prices for fat, but we needed it for drippings and Yorkies. My wife
was at the butcher for sirloin for meat pies and got him to throw in
some extra fat. The prime rib was excellent.

I have shared a membership with my 'sister' for quite a few years! At
half price on a regular membership it works for us. They do check but
the clerk didn't notice that although we appeared to have the same
address, the numbers of our units were different.

I saved $150 on a Dyson stick ordered online, so I reckon that has
paid my membership for a few years.

I like the idea of paying dues to belong to a club, it keeps the riff
raff out, it's like living in a high property tax area. Club stores
have far less shop lifting, that keeps prices down. Where I live we
have five acre zoning, can't build on less than a five acre lot
although most lots here are more than 20 acres, several are over 50
acres and more. This is better than a gated community. The
properties are large enough that anyone who doesn't belong is readily
spotted... in farming communities people who don't belong don't
linger, they know they can get shot and disappear without a trace....
dropped into a twenty foot deep pond the carp and snapping turtles
will make quick work of them, including their bones.
