We always have chicken in the freezer, but not veal.

I like veal with morels in cream sauce. Or Wonder bread with morels
in cream sauce

Since when are recipes restricted by country? This is a global
newsgroup. Perhaps some of the ingredients aren't widely available but
the recipe certainly is.

When I clicked on this:

I got the message, Not available in your country!

I honestly can't say I've ever bought Wonder bread. Seems to me my
mother bought it when my brothers and I were young. Little red, yellow
and blue balloons on the package? That's a vague memory.

I don't buy veal very often. I'm not a huge fan of chicken, either.
When I do buy chicken it's generally thighs. Or leg quarters for making
a pot of chicken stew with dumplings.

Like many other foods, some breads are somewhat localized. They may be
wildly popular in some areas and all but unheard of in others.
Kummelweck is an example of that. It is widely available in western NY.
Beef on Weck is as commonly available in bars and restaurants in the
Buffalo as their famous chicken wings. Kummelweck is soft roll with
coarse salt and caraway seeds sprinkled on top. I don't know why the
product has not spread across the country.

Okay, but that's up to the ISP if/when links are sometimes questionable.
I was referring to recipes in general not being available. We all
share recipes here.

You're wrong. Some websites only work in the USA and not in other
countries. Why, I don't know but it is very true.

My husband strongly prefers Veal Parmesan, so that's what we usually cook
when we have veal at home. He hates mushrooms and I refrain from cooking
them, so I only get veal with morels when we go out.

We like chicken (and turkey) quite a bit and eat a lot of it. Tonight
we're having chicken stir-fried with soy sauce and onions. Tomorrow
it'll be Sate Babi:

Sate Babi (pork sate)

3 T finely chopped onion
2 garlic cloves
2 t galangal (laos)
1 T peanut butter
1 t lemongrass powder (sereh)
1 t tumeric
2 t coriander
1.5 t cumin
0.5 t red pepper flakes
3 T lemon juice
1.5 t salt
1 T brown sugar
1.25 C coconut milk
1/2 C kecap manis (Indonesian sweet soy sauce)
1 to 1.5 lb boneless pork

The first N-1 ingredients are a marinade for the pork, which is cut
in cubes, skewered, and grilled. I usually reserve some of the marinade
as a dipping sauce.

I prefer pork piccata, made with cutlets of boneless pork loin...
$1.89/lb vs $6+/lb veal. Actually it's what many Italian restaurants
use, with all that cracked black pepper & lemon near impossible to
tell the difference.

Had I baked it I most definately would have posted a picture but I
didn't bake it... I merely asked what it was and when I was told it's
a kind of bread I looked it up and I posted the recipe... then some
big time UK bread baker said it's unavailable here, I naturally
thought they meant they couldn't buy the bread... HTF should I or
anyone know their browser couldn't read the URL I posted? DUH And
here I thought UKers could read/write proper English, NOT!
And all along I thought you could follow a thread, NOT!

Had I baked that bread do you think I'd ask what it is?

It has, only not by the German name... Kummel is caraway... most every
bakery in the US bakes a bread with caraway seeds. The liquer I sip
for a sore throat is Kümmel:

a kind of bread I looked it up and I posted the recipe... then some
big time UK bread baker said it's unavailable here, I naturally
thought they meant they couldn't buy the bread... HTF should I or
anyone know their browser couldn't read the URL I posted? DUH And
here I thought UKers could read/write proper English, NOT!
And all along I thought you could follow a thread, NOT!

Had I baked that bread do you think I'd ask what it is?

==

And I would have thought a US know it all would understand that I couldn't
open that link here!

Amazing isn't it???

I know a lot but not how to read minds.

It was nothing to do with minds. It was to do with country as others have
pointed out!

True. Just like we can't view a lot of websites in other countries. I don't

Sometimes it's for legal reasons. They'll only have the right to show
something in a particular country. But more and more often, it seems
