No one is saying that. You are the one dissing others.

My husband was drafted and served in Vietnam.

Me either, I find it really funny that when some of that stuff is aired and
people complain they say "if you don't like it change the station" The same
goes for songs, cartoons etc. that some stations are actually banning,
that's the problem.

Heh. It was aired here last weekend (Saturday, I think) at 8pm on
either ABC or NBC. As always, I did watch a few minutes of it
(and was amused at what I saw).

Just like "comfort food," this show is "comfort tv" to me. It's
well made and I just like it. Takes me back to my childhood days.
Traditional show to watch each year. I also like to check out the
old Charlie Brown Christmas show and the Halloween show.

While I'm at it, might as well toss in the annual airing of 'The
Wizard of OZ' movie too, I suppose. :-D

We watch it every year, it's tradition. This makes me laugh,
especially about Rudolph leaving the door open when he sets out
on his own, because the OCD in me says Shut the Door!

That stuff is rampant now. Kentucky is recalling some license plates.
Like every state, the letter combination starts AAA and AAB, etc. Well,
JAO was ok but now they are on JAP and someone was offended.

That is ridiculous. The plate number and letter sequences are just
that... sequences. Vanity plates may more may be a different issue.
There was a case of a local guy whose vanity plate was recalled because
someone found it offensive. The guy was the brother of a guy who was
in my class in high school. His plate was ZOG, a nickname that his
friends called him. He was a Jew and his surname was Herzog. Apparently
he liked his nickname enough to use it for a middle name, but the powers
that be thought it was something about a Zionist organization.
