Hello RFCers!
Well, we had a VERY GOOD First Annual 3068 International Thanksgiving Dinner!!! We ALL contributed to the dinner preps, and everything was DELICIOUS!! Nothing turned out precisely as intended, but it was ALL JUST PERFECT!! And we have DA LEFTOVERS TOO!! I need to carve off as much meat as I can off the 14.5lb Turkey Carcass in the refrigerator since last evening, and my one Indian housemate and I capped off the evening late when we invented a NEW ETHANOL BEVERAGE! A "Mango Splash"! 50ml of Grey Goose vodka over 1/2 a drink glass of ice cubes, then fill with expensive designer mango juice cocktail, and YUM!!! John Kuthe... |

SOME was "traditional" like the 14.5lb TURKEY I stuffed and baked for 4+ hours, and some was less traditional like one of my Indian housemate and my collaboration on a Pineapple Upside Down cake, and My Lady Love and I collaborated on making a 12oz pack of Cranberries into REAL Cranberry Sauce which is good on EVERYTHING! And everyone LOVED it!! And we had two bottles of NOT THE GREATEST 2015 Red Wine! So everyone ate well and I hope slept well too! :-) Good food, good friends, and GOOD KARMA! John Kuthe... |

I've made an egg cream before. It's curiously refreshing. Here's a drink I'm going to make. Unlike the egg cream, it actually uses an egg. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L9xrbECBjtM |

When I was little, I loved Bosco chocolate syrup because it was what was in my grandma's cupboard.
I had some about ten or fifteen years ago, and it didn't taste at all like I remembered. ;-)) N. |

(Not suggesting that you're old, by the way.) WATER, NATURAL COCOA, SORBITOL, CARAMEL COLOR, SODIUM ACID SULPHATE, XANTHAN GUM, ACESULFAME POTASSIUM, SALT, VANILLIN (ARTIFICIAL FLAVOR), POTASSIUM SORBATE (PRESERVATIVE), SODIUM BENZOATE (PRESERVATIVE), SUCRALOSE |

Real Vanilla and Real Almost extract!! VERY flavorful! And LOTS of Pineapple! The fresh cranberry sauce was a perfect match of tartness! And the Hershey's Syrup was just for the FLAVOR!! Chocolate and pineapple will never be good together, just like lemon and chocolate. OTOH,
chocolate and orange are fabulous together. Not all citrus is created equally. N. |
