You live in a climate where you don't need leather and fur for warmth. For thousands of years humans in northern lands have used fur to survive the elements. I have a couple of fur hats that were special presents. I don't often wear them because it isn't usually old enough to need them here, but on those extremely cold days there is nothing quite like fur for warmth. |
