Default Saturday night supper

We are taking a break from Saturday night hamburgers. I used the ground
beef to make a sort of a Bolognese sauce to have on pasta. I used some
smoked bacon instead of Pancetta. I am skipping the cream. I tasted it.
It is delicious.

It was. We were both very happy with the results and I will have to file
that one for future use.

Sounds good Dave!

We did a baked whole set of trout with a side of rice and roasted
carrots. Added was steamed mustard greens. Not very fancy but we liked
it!

I spent the day driving my mother around, so it was breakfast for dinner.
Happily, there were some leftover boiled potatoes in the fridge, so I
frizzled them in bacon fat with onions. Couple strips of bacon and
scrambled eggs. Washed down with a cold glass of milk.
