I don't know what all the big whoop over ketchup on hot dogs, is about.
Chi-Dogs have two slices of tomato and they are my fave. Must be a NYC kinda thing. I jes hadda hankerin' fer a hot dog, so bought some organic wheat buns and Applegate Uncured hot dogs. I put Grey Poupon, mayo, and Heinz Organic ketchup on 'em and I notice the dogs are "terrible" (despite the "dogs" being everything an organics-leaning person, like myself, should be). ![]() nb |

I don't eat hot dogs. Have tried the chicken and turkey. Both were weird in texture. |

See "celery powder" at the end of the ingredients list? Loaded with nitrates: <http://www.meatmythcrushers.com/myths/the-use-of-celery-powder-to-cure-some-meats-is-misleading.html> Cindy Hamilton |

I would vote NO for ketchup on the dog or hamburger for that matter. Ketchup is good IMO for french fries or onion rings and cocktail sauce. jay |

But chili sauce is good with fries, not on them though as some people drown fries with ketchup. |
