I use coffee, too...gives it a nice "depth" of flavor. I use Cafe Bustelo Espresso, a small cup provides a nice "kick"... -- Best Greg |

I use a touch of mustard but not enough to identify as mustard, and Korean chili pepper powder. Sweet sausage sounds like a good idea. I don't use coffee but I'll try it next time. |

One and a half cups of coffee was also used. The pepper pretty much destroyed any hint that coffee was added. That's the breaks. What the heck is bang bang bread? I like the name... |

That's okay, your description is good enough. I'd be making it immediately but it looks like I won't be making any bread for a while. These days, carbs are a no-no. |

He will never be capable of exceeding > that performance due to spinal stenosis. What's worked for me, for over 15 years: I walk 30 minutes most days, not at a fast pace, but a steady pace. I also do 10-15 minutes of strength training a few days a week. Overtime, I have lost 40 pounds and managed my glucose levels with diet and exercise only. I saw a diabetic educator and dietician and follow their advice, I have a meal plan that allows a certain level of carb-exchanges for each meal. My carb choices are based upon the Glycemic Index, where I chose carbs with a low GI that raise glucose levels slowly. Well Done!!! You have done brilliantly!!! When spinal stenosis made exercise very difficult, I was fortunate to find a local chiropractor who treats stenosis using the Renuva procedures. It is expensive (Medicare paid for only about half); but, at least for me, miraculous; after 2 and a half months of twice weekly treatments, I have no further symptoms. A single monthly visit (not very expensive) maintains my current, no pain, situation. Before I had the Renuva treatments, I continued to walk, at a stroll, as far as I could, then take break and go again. Doing what your body allows, consistently, is all you can do; just do it repeatedly. Once again.... well done ![]() |

It was about "chuck wagon cooking", but more importantly, it hadda lotta recipes using coffee. Even hadda bbq recipe called "Old Black joe" which was basically mostly strong coffee. Here's a secret you may not know. I roasted a lotta "decaf" coffee's (German decaf, SWD decaf, etc) . Only Taster's Choice had any "body". Taster's Choice was monster in most of my recipes. I quit using instant coffee when I learned about Nestle's. I need to get back to using regular coffee, more (moka?). ![]() nb |
