Default Mayocoba 'canary' beans?

Anyone tried these? Much taste? Like them? I plan to just soak them and
crockpot them with some smoked meat, onions, garlic & bullion. Do they have
enough taste for this? Northerns work very well with this preparation.

Yes. Taste pretty much like pintos to me. Got a pound for 99 cents at QFC. I
won't buy them unless cheap. Pintos are almost always cheaper.
