Odd but true, here's 3 that I just heard of the other day.
Pumpkin spice flavored cereal: Kelloggs Frosted Flakes - pumpkin spice flavored General Mills Cheerios - pumpkin spice flavored How bizarre but as I do love pumpkin pies/spices, I'm tempted to try the Cheerios version. Wish me luck! http://pixel.brit.co/wp-content/uplo...s-645x948.jpeg Also I just heard of Campbell's new soup - Cream of Bacon. Now that one interests me and I'll probably try that too. Use not as a soup but as an ingredient in some other dish. |

Fry up a bunch of bacon. Remove bacon, use the grease in the pan to saute up some diced onion, bell pepper and mushrooms. Add diced potatoes to the veggies. Add chicken broth for part of the liquid and cook until tender. Add milk or half and half and the bacon. check seasonings. A half hour of work yields a nice big batch of soup. |
