Odd but true, here's 3 that I just heard of the other day.

Pumpkin spice flavored cereal:
Kelloggs Frosted Flakes - pumpkin spice flavored
General Mills Cheerios - pumpkin spice flavored

How bizarre but as I do love pumpkin pies/spices, I'm tempted to
try the Cheerios version. Wish me luck!

Also I just heard of Campbell's new soup - Cream of Bacon. Now
that one interests me and I'll probably try that too. Use not as
a soup but as an ingredient in some other dish.

They trot out a lot of pumpkin spiced things at this time of the year,
usually just until the holidays are over.

why not just make a lovely chowder. Fry up a bunch of bacon. Remove
bacon, use the grease in the pan to saute up some diced onion, bell
pepper and mushrooms. Add diced potatoes to the veggies. Add chicken
broth for part of the liquid and cook until tender. Add milk or half
and half and the bacon. check seasonings. A half hour of work yields
a nice big batch of soup.

Were I to make it at home I'd omit the bacon... cream of 'shrooms,
potato, and swiss cheese would be a fantastic soup... bacon would Ef
it up.... no one with a functioning palate would ever eat 'shrooms
with bacon.... DIS, GUST, ING!!!!
