My stupid. Using a cheap pan, i brushed against a bread bag. Melted to the pan. Not going away. Cheap as it is, i am glad i do not have to work to fix it.

Costco usually has a 3-piece non stick pan set for about $20.
Currently they're the Tramontina brand and they've lasted me 200+
uses each and still have another 300+ to go. But you may throw them
out after 50 uses if you'd like. What do you do, use metal
pitchforks to flip and plate the foods in your pans?

Sorry, I don't consider my nonstick pans to be disposable. These last me
at least 5 years, and uncountably many uses:

I don't use metal utensils in them, but I do put them in the dishwasher.

Also, I don't view nonstick as a substitute for a little fat in the pan.

Cheap-o non-stick fry pan from Walmart. Less than $5.00 USDs.

Brand is Mainstays, size sez 9.5 inches, but flat bottom is more like 7"
dia. I use it fer eggs-over-easy. I bought two, but am still on the
first one after a couple year's use.

NEVER use metal in a non-stick pan. I don't care if it sez,
"metal-friendly", or whatever. Wood or plastic, ONLY!

nb

Sounds like winner. I do pitchforks and grinders. Not a problem with the better iron and big buck items.

What's the problem? I see tons of dirt cheap, non-stick, pans at discount stores. OTOH, what is rare is a non-stick, stainless steel, pan that will work with an induction stove. My favorite pan is a pan of just such a build for $35 off-the-rack at the Safeway down the street. It's just perfect for me - a heavy pan with an all metal handle that heats up fast. I have another pan that looks beautiful but it takes forever to heat up. Too bad.
