I made another kook! <shaking hands all around>

ObFood: Big batch of my White trash Chicken for dinner tonight. I
used Cream of Asparagus instead of Cream of Shroom.

Sear and set aside 2.5lbs of salt & peppered boneless/skinless halved
chicken thighs.

Deglaze pan with 6-7 ounces of white wine (chardonnay in my case).

Add 1 can of CoM soup
8oz brick of cream cheese cut into chunks
1 packet of Good Seasons Zesty Italian Dressing mix
4oz milk

Stir until melted and creamy.

Add 8oz of sliced white or brown shrooms
and the reserved chicken thighs

Simmer very low for 2 hours or cook in the crock pot. Add more
milk if it's too thick - it will thicken more as its served and cools
a little. Stir in a small handful of minced parsley 5 minutes before
serving.

Serve with/over your choice of rice or noodle.

Â* Can't do that , the wife is lactose intolerant . Slip her anything
dairy (except butter , which surprisingly has very little lactose in it)
and it ain't pretty .

I could eat that right now. My favorite - mushrooms in cream sauce. I
was going to do white trash mac and cheese tonight but went ahead and
did it the regular way.
white trash mac and cheese is
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
some grated cheese
some milk
some cooked macaroni
some salt and pepper
oven for 20-30 minutes

Â* Damn , I knew I forgot something ! Oh well , too late now . Most of
it went into our stomachs , enough left for one serving in the
refrigerator . It was mighty tasty .
