Just seen a recipe for slow cooker Hawaiian chicken.

The recipe includes:

1 (18 ounce) bottle honey barbecue sauce,
1 (15.25 ounce) can sliced pineapple

and ONE teaspoon soy sauce????

Is there any point of such a small amount of soy sauce???
