I can't > always wait for the snowplows and salt trucks to come by before I > leave for work. > > Cindy Hamilton > I was being facetious, of course. I'm sure Gary knew that. Where I lived most of my adult life (west TN) it didn't snow every year but there were often sleet and ice storms. There were no salt trucks. No plows because it was, after all, the mid south. Ice storms can be very nasty. Driving on ice is no fun. Been there, done than for many years. Yes, you NEED to be able to get your car out of the driveway when it snows. It doesn't snow where Gary lives very often. It shocked the hell out of me when it snowed a few inches here in South Carolina in January. (That was actually fun.) It doesn't negate the fact that you mainly need a car you can get out of the driveway when it snows. You live where it snows often. It's not the frivolous thing Kuthe makes it out to be. Sure sounds like a necessity rather than a luxury. Oh, and I don't care if he buys a Tesla or a Leaf. Or anything else. Jill |

The great thing about these keyboards is that a person that would buy such a product would be likely to buy at least 2 of them at a time(!). I intentionally added them for obvious reasons. I also started with two, then three, and finished with four!!!!! |

The definition of an engineer is somone who can draw a picture of a toaster but hasn't the ability to produce a toaster... and likely can't use a toaster without burning the bread. Engineers are all about theory, not a whit about reality. Case in point, an Agricultural Engineer couldn't grow beans. All engineers are data collecters, they all proselytize those who actually do... an engineering degree is a licence to steal. |
