It's too bad because she's one of the good ones. There's another
cashier who is to be avoided if at all possible. Heh. I have seen
other people back out when they see it's her. At any rate, I do try to
avoid her but you can't always do that.

And maybe it's good to have a visual of what goes on when you don't
see, your stuff has been manhandled by all kinds of people by the
time you buy it. Not a pleasant thought.

Best to just grab some of those hand wipes that they offer as you
go into the store. I do that during the winter when it's cold and
flu season. Remember, it's not just the cashier, it's also many
of the customers spreading germs all over the store. I certainly
wouldn't want to report a cashier and get her/him in trouble. I
can easily wipe away the little virus kids.

I make liberal use of hand sanitizer, especially in this winter weather with colds/flu rampant. When I get my groceries home, I have a bottle of hydrogen peroxide and paper towels that I wipe down things with. I've seen LOTS of gross people doing gross things to grocery items...

What happened to me the other day was the absolute worst that has happened
to me with that. I was coming out of CVS, turned to put something in the
garbage can by the door, turned back around as a woman was coming out the
automatic doors, she coughed without covering her mouth and droplets of
spittle landed on the back of my hand, I was horrified, but didn't say
anything to her (I should have since she didn't even say excuse me) got to
my car quickly and slathered my hands with the hand sanitizer in my glove
compartment.YUCK!!!!
