Thanks for posting the recipe for Tomato Basil Bisque. I made it
yesterday and I like it. Thank goodness it makes a lot since it is
time consuming to get everything together and then make it.

I used my home canned tomatoes since our plants are about gone and it
has rained for the last 3 or 4 days, chicken broth, and half & half
instead of heavy cream.

I like it very much. Now to find the jars to freeze it in and space
in the freezer.

You're very welcome. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I still have tomatoes
staring me in the face and more coming until end of October. I put my
bisque in those little plastic containers you can buy at the
supermarket. I've always got a bunch on hand. I don't can anymore so
I think today that I will skin most of the tomatoes, pack them in
portioned freezer containers and freeze. That way when I want some
tomatoes for soup, etc., I can just chop them and use them. I'll
probably make some bisque as well and use up the last of the basil.
