AN URGENT MESSAGE FROM THE NAACP!

While the confederate flag is the most offensive symbol of slavery and
oppression in the world, there are other symbols that perpetuate hatred and
racism. The following are found offensive by the NAACP:

1. COTTON Because African-American slaves were once forced to pick cotton,
we will boycott all cotton products. We will no longer wear t-shirts,
underwear, pants, or socks made from cotton. We will boycott all stores that
sell q-tips and stuffed animals.

2.THE COLOR GRAY Since gray was the color of the confederate army uniforms,
we will boycott anything gray. We will refuse to walk or drive on gray
streets or sidewalks, enter gray buildings, or read newspapers printed on
gray paper. We demand that all gray crayons be removed from public school
classrooms.

3.THE NAME "LEE"
To get rid of the oppressive and offensive images of Robert E. Lee, we
demand that all people named "Lee" change their name to Martin Luther King.
We will boycott until these people have shed the oppressive names of the
past. We will no longer eat Sara Lee pies, or watch movies starring Bruce
Lee or Lee Marvin.

4. THE LETTER "X"
The letter "x" will be removed from the alphabet because of its resemblance
to the confederate swastika. We demand that tic-tac-toe no longer be played
by children, and that adults no longer watch x-rated movies. We
will boycott all hospitals using x-rays. This boycott will
last until all books, magazines, and newspapers replace all x's with the
letter "z". However, in the case of Minister Malcolm we will make an
exception.

5. THE WORD "BULL"
Eugene "Bull" Connor was one of the most violent racists in American
history. He constantly used dogs and firehoses on civil rights workers when
he was public safety commissioner in Birmingham. To remove all vestiges of
this racism, we will remove all references to "bull" from our society. We
will boycott the NBA until the Chicago team changes its name to The Freedom
Riders. We demand that Professional Bull Riders and other organizations
dealing with "bulls" be made illegal.

6. LAUNDRY DETERGENT We will boycott all stores selling laundry detergent
because the directions advise the user to "separate the colors from the
whites." We see this as a symbol of segregation and Jim Crow and will
refuse to buy such a product.

These are only a few of the offensive items in our society. Please help us
to remove them from America. Help us protect our constitutional right to
not be offended
