Default Supper tonight... April 15

Short ribs. I was at the butcher shop this morning and they were on sale
cheap. I got a pound and a half. I probably should have got more. They
are in the oven braising now. My wife is due back from her week away
with the girls, and they usually go vegetarian for the sake of the
vegetarian in the group. I am sure she will be craving meat when she
gets back. She has a long drive and I am not sure when she will be
back, so it can sit a little longer if it has to.

If she's really craving meat, why not delight her with a HAWT BEEF
INJECTION?

Something involving leftover grilled chicken. DH made a salad
dressing that was supposed to be like the classic sushi bar
ginger/carrot/onion salad dressing, but he put a touch of
sesame oil in it. I thought it might make a nice sauce for chicken.

Oh gee! It's my anniversary. 21 years. Nothing special planned though.
Plenty of leftovers. But if I do find asparagus, I'll make it for my
husband.

Thanks! I did find the asparagus but haven't cooked it yet. He wasn't
ready to eat when I was ready to make his dinner. So Angela wound up making
him some chili because I was busy doing something when he did decide he was
hungry. Ah... Maybe tonight. I have a steak too. And we have a weird
heat wave coming on Sunday so I know I won't want to cook then.
