At least once a day, but usually several times a day. The more often you do it, the less time it takes. I don't have any problem with the loading or unloading. Heck, you do the same with hand washing and putting on a drying rack. My deal is that to fill a dishwasher (me here only), it would take a few days to fill the washer. I like to reuse many items during a day. Putting everything in a dishwasher to wash later, I found myself too often taking some dirty item out of the dishwasher, then cleaning it to use again. Not only that, by the time you rinse off things to put in the dishwasher, you could have used some soapy water, rinsed and got it clean in the same amount of time. IMO. The only "waste of time" to me is to hand dry dishes using a kitchen towel. Just let them dry on a rack before putting them away. Imo, people that hand dry have too much time on their hands. |
