Not for many of us, it isn't. We get just as sick from it. And it is still dairy. |

An expensive food will not survive if it is not good. However, there are lots of cheap foods that are excellent. Unfortunately too many of them have been "discovered" and are now pricey. http://www.richardfisher.com |

Plenty of "diet sodas" are fine! http://www.buzzfeed.com/venessawong/...ose#.nxl3pM2Q3 For now, the FDA limits safe consumption of sucralose to the equivalent of 23 packets of Splenda daily for a 132-pound person. https://examine.com/faq/is-diet-soda-bad-for-you/ There are no studies that indicate any long-term health risks from drinking diet soda. Diet Soda (defined as calorie free carbonated beverages sweetened with aspartame, sucralose, acesulfame-potassium, or other non-caloric or minimally caloric sweeteners) is not harmful to health, well-being, or body composition.[1] There is no evidence that diet soda inhibits fat loss, or that it even spikes insulin levels to levels that would be detrimental to health. |

Such is the power of the drug and chemical lobbies that they can buy the approval of the FDA. There were a couple of years where I kept 'sugar free' gum in the car, which I'd chew on long trips, mostly. It took a while before I realised it was making me somewhat more aggressive and shorter tempered. The ingredient list on the packet of gum was so tiny, it wasn't until I got suspicious that I got a magnifying glass to read that it contained aspartame. This shit should be banned, and I'm sure it will be... eventually, when they come up with a new chemical to market. |

My lunch was a microwaved hot dog and a can of Coke. No Aspartame at all! It's not a very good lunch but it's good enough and dirt cheap. The Coke seems awfully sweet but I'm feeling like a million bucks now. Thanks HFCS! |

Curious as it may seem, on the rare occasion I have a hot dog, I crave Coke. It is the perfect drink with a hot dog. |
