I bought some new C&H brn sugar. When it gets hard, ina couple o'
months, I'll put some bread in the bag. Any recommedations as to size of bread slice and brand? nb |

There is no reason to change it. |

Sugar is a preservative, not many molds survive concentrated sugar, which is why prunes and other dried fruit keeps so well. I use a piece of citrus peel as a sugar humidifier... did the same with tobacco when I used to be a pipe smoker. |
