Default Can opener redux

A while back I was asking if anyone knew of a can opener that would work
on "pop-top" cans, which I don't like because they cut up my silicone
scrapers, and you have to use a scraper to dig the contents out past the
"rim" that is left when you pop the top.

As it happens, I was given one of those "side cutter" openers a couple
weeks ago, and I am happy to report that they do a perfect job on
pop-top cans. The deeper rim on that type of can doesn't bother the
opener at all.
