Sheldon, was Shirleys birthday between mid feb- mid march in 1946 and
was her middle initial A?

She was very likely born in 1946 but it was so long ago that I don't
remember her birthday or her middle name... in fact I don't remember
her parent's names but I'm pretty sure they would have passed by now.
I also inadvertantly misremembered her last name but it came back to
me later, it wasn't Morone, it's Varone. I spent more than three
hours seaching on line phone books yesterday, even phoned who I
thought might have been family members but no luck. People move on,
they move far away from where they were born and grew up, I found that
out searching for old classmates, ship mates, and coworkers, most
retired to other states, and most have passed on. Thank you for
searching.

You can search online USA birth marriage and death records too. If
you know anyone in USA who is interested in genealogy, they probably
have accounts at some of the pay-for record search engines which will
turn up a wide range of information; all past and current addresses,
family members, phone numbers etc.

Other places to try are High School "old pupils" associations
which often have websites

Reminds me that it's time for my yearly eye exam, I have old peepers.

Finally I'm back, setting up a new PC with Win 10 is a PITA... I
likede Win 7 better, it's more useer friendly
