I just got back from the farm stand. For $10 I brought home a couple of
good sized acorn squash, ditto a couple of butternut squash. I also got
a cabbage, a paper bag full of new potatoes and a couple of good sized
sweet potatoes. Oh, and a bundle of leeks.

While I was selecting an acorn squash a ladybug (ladybird beetle) landed
on my hand. The man exclaimed, "That's good luck!" Yep, it's good
luck to have these farmers selling really good fresh produce nearby.
