Find??? Sure you make them yourself? We don't like kidney so I tend to
make steak and onion, or steak and mushroom pies. Try them!

Without looking this up, could you please post a full recipe of how
you make them. Include the crust process too. Your's will be an
authentic UK recipe, not one of many different ones.

A steak, onion, and mushroom pie, baked in a crust, recipe would
probably last me for the rest of my life. Please post a recipe. :-D

LOL I don't use a recipe I cook the meat and 'whatever' first, put
into a pie dish, cover with pastry, brush with egg wash and bake.)

I usually use rough puff pastry. Something like this with gravy, I would
just put a top crust on.

You can find loads of recipes on line. Steak and Ale, Steak and mushroom,
Steak and onion, Beef and potato etc.

Search for Steak Pie and choose a UK site. There are loads of combinations

This one looks good:

Good luck and get back to me if you get stuck)

However, the one illustrated was a pudding, not a pie.

I make beef stew with ale all the time... I much prefer ale or beer to
wine. I omit the crust, just serve with crusty bread. I never liked
any kind of pie crust, when served I pick off the crust and leave it.

My mom used to make a really good kidney stew, which I loved.
