Include the crust process too. Your's will be an authentic UK recipe, not one of many different ones. A steak, onion, and mushroom pie, baked in a crust, recipe would probably last me for the rest of my life. Please post a recipe. :-D |

Please post a recipe. :-D LOL I don't use a recipe ![]() into a pie dish, cover with pastry, brush with egg wash and bake. ![]() I usually use rough puff pastry. Something like this with gravy, I would just put a top crust on. You can find loads of recipes on line. Steak and Ale, Steak and mushroom, Steak and onion, Beef and potato etc. Search for Steak Pie and choose a UK site. I omit the crust, just serve with crusty bread. I never liked any kind of pie crust, when served I pick off the crust and leave it. |
