I've flipped channels a few times to that show just to see what it's about. Nothing. I can't believe that people would watch and like it. As for Brucie...he just needed some income. He should have spent it on some couch time with a good psychologist rather than an invasive sex change surgeon. What a loser. |

He will never be a "she" despite operations to make it appear so. Best scenario is that Mary Lou Retton will want to be a man, then she can marry Brucie. After the wedding, hopefully both of them will die in a tragic car accident while on their honeymoon. |

The same can be said for all those "reality" shows, and that could even include most of the cooking competitions. > As for Brucie...he just needed some income. He should have spent it on > some couch time with a good psychologist rather than an invasive sex > change surgeon. What a loser. LGBT issues are a hot topic these days and it isn't politically correct not to be accepting of all sexual orientations and genders, but I have to wonder if they could not improve counseling and hormone therapy to help people come to terms with the sexual parts they were born with. I am amazed that a guy would have his parts cut off and undergo hormone therapy to become a woman, usually an ugly one, and then have relationships with women. It seems like a hell of an ordeal to go through to become a *******. I feel sorry for them that they are so terribly confused. |

I'm not positive because of all the embedded dialogue, but apparently
On Sat, 15 Aug 2015 15:24:08 -0400, Dave Smith > wrote: > LGBT issues are a hot topic these days and it isn't politically correct > not to be accepting of all sexual orientations and genders, Or races or creeds or sizes or nationalities! It's almost gotten to where it's not cool to hate any general group of people! > ...but I have to wonder if they could not improve counseling and > hormone therapy to help people come to terms with the sexual parts they > were born with. They are "coming to terms", but perhaps not as you'd prefer. It is more common than ever that after counseling and hormone therapy people are coming to terms with their preferred gender, regardless of their organs. But perhaps you meant feigning the gender that their organs would imply. > I am amazed that a guy would have his parts cut off and undergo hormone > therapy to become a woman, usually an ugly one, and then have > relationships with women. If an accident had you losing your member, do you think you'd begin loving men? Gender is one thing and biological sexual assignment is another. They don't always correlate in tidy predictable categories, and never have. In any case a majority of that group currently called "transgender" are more frequently choosing to retain their organs as is. Regarding "beauty"; that isn't really what defines "success" as a woman, though society sure tells us that often enough. If "ugly women" should be men, there could be many millions of women that would have to convert to men, depending on the societal fashion du jour. An astounding number of adolescent girls think they aren't pretty, or are even ugly, unfortunately. That's what 16 years of indoctrination get you. > It seems like a hell of an ordeal to go through to become a *******. > I feel sorry for them that they are so terribly confused. Their confusion and discomfort predominantly stems from a lack of acceptance by others, rather than an inability for self-acceptance. Much of their discomfort comes from discrimination, being castigated and ostracized by family, church, work, etc. That's where the misery lays--a loss of enclusion in family and community. |

She was half boarder collie and English Cocker Spaniel. The dog had skills in pointing and herding when he was a pup. If you wanted a working dog, it would be very easy to train a dog with such a predisposition. It's amazing the complex behaviors that can be passed on through the genes. Both the cat and the dog were aware of the space around them and the relationship of the people to themselves in that space. The dog would constantly be changing his place in the room according to our movement. The dog is living with my son now and what a great life he has living in a house of dogs. |

San Rocco is also the patron of Simbario, Catanzaro, Calabria, as any member of the Società Unione Progresso e Civilità di Tutti i Paesani di Simbario could tell you. Procession begins at St. Theresa's Chinese Catholic Church (formerly Santa Maria Incoronata) at 9 am, followed by Mass at 10:30 a.m. Mass, followed by a ANOTHER procession with Caliendo's Banda Napoletana, the benediction of the Blessed Sacrament and kissing of the holy relic of San Rocco, and a buffet dinner afterward. A Novena will be celebrated on Aug. 16. (Bruno Bertucci, 312-446-0504) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RiKhopiBEq4 > > Food reference: > > Be sure to take one or more to lunch tomorrow! Buffet dinner! The Bertucci boys have sadly closed their restaurant. But it was great while it lasted. http://www.yelp.com/biz/bertuccis-corner-chicago |

Wonderful ![]() Ours was affectionate and settled in from the second we brought her home, yet she growls at strangers and won't go to them to be petted whatever they try and do. We had only met her once before we brought her home and that was just for a short walk. Normally there is a bit of a process to go through before you can adopt a dog from there, but they knew us because we'd had dogs from them before. She knew which side her bread was buttered <g> -- http://www.helpforheroes.org.uk/shop/ |

Our dog was friendly to strangers but would act all weird with other dogs. These days she lives just fine in the company of dogs. |
