For some stupid reason the residents of Dataw protested loudly when the [only available] trash pickup service wanted to institute recycling. I don't know why; I guess they didn't want to have to sort things and buy more bins. I *could* collect these items and drive stuff to the so-called recycle center (I call it a dump).
