Default What is the most complicated thing you've made?

My mother always overcooked meat. She and my dad were very fearful of
getting food poisoning from undercooked meat. I think she did own a meat
thermometer but I never saw her use it. I was so used to eating meat like
that, that if I did get juicy meat somewhere else, it just seemed wrong to
me.

Thankfully, some people here pointed out the error of my ways, especially
with chicken. I used to cook the hell out of it!
