Default The foods you eat.........or don't, for a reason.

There is a vicious cycle in conventional agriculture where ever more
toxic pesticides and herbicides are required to combat weeds and pests
that adapt to the old formulas. That is now happening with GMO crops.
This is so shortsighted. Organic agriculture produces higher yields,
more drought resistance, less toxicity, and more nutrition per acre.
Organic food is only more expensive if you don't consider the
externalities that are reflected in doctor bills, environmental
cleanups, and ecological dead zones.

So tell me again why GMOs are necessary to feed the world?

They might be, but only if we allow cockroach, misogynist cultures to keep breeding. The West needs to realize that we need to exterminate certain cultures, and instate strict population controls. None of your organic regimen, or agribusinesses' GMO is going to keep up if we keep letting the population increase, so let's start by going after cultures that haven't kept up.. Let's kill them off the way Cro-Magnon killed off Neanderthal.

Listen, wars that kill off large numbers are inevitable if we do nothing, as the gutter cultures continue to breed like the vermin they are, as they enslave their women to puppy-making whoredom. Gender equality means that civilized cultures will never have the birth rate of the vermin, who will overrun modern human culture, and install misogynist theocracies.

Turkey, the great hope for moderate Islam has moved decidedly Islamist, and the Arab Spring--with it's increasing Salifization--is far worse for women than Saddam Hussein's "rape rooms."
