I'm going to make a big pot of soup tomorrow. Got some russet potatoes for
38 cents a pound. Those would not be my potatoes of choice for such a soup but hey! I was feeling cheap. Also a large handful of green beans. Already have onions, celery and carrots. And a few tomatoes to put in. Will buy a zucchini tomorrow and whatever else looks good. Will also throw in some fresh parsley, cooked ground beef, tomato juice and maybe some beef broth if I need more liquid. Of course there will be salt, pepper, oregano and a bay leaf. Yum! |
