Default hot pepper usage

Is it true you get conditioned to it... (like morphine, etc) and have to
keep using a higher dose to get the same "high"?

I never heard of getting high on the stuff, but yes, with time you can tolerate (and enjoy) more. You know you're getting plenty when it warms you on the way out.
