If it weren't for the Hershey's, I'd agree. Chocoley might put out
crappy coverture junk, but their real chocolate is excellent.

Hey, John, I propose that we bury the hatchet on Usenet, as far as
personal attacks. It bores everyone on this NG. I welcome any
attacks on my cooking, or anything else I post that you find
objectionable for its content, but there is no reason why we should
keep provoking each other on Usenet. Again, it is boring.

I always think it's sad when friends fall out.

Those two weren't real friends, they had (still have) a symbiotic
relationship, both parasites using each other.

His behavior doesn't surprise me one bit.

You could compile all of your peccadilloes about the various cooking
oils and upload it to a web page. Then you can just post a link
whenever the subject arises.

Oh, about the dietary fats stuff, anyone who disagrees with the facts
is just incorrect. The research is out there. Most people are just
too lazy to inform themselves.
http://curezone.org/foods/fatspercent.asp?

The high oleic sunflower, soy, and canola oils aren't listed, but they
are similar to olive in monounsaturate levels.

I won't dignify your use of the word, "peccadilloes," by explaining
why it was nonsensical.

Not at all. I was talking about your obsession, which for all I know
is 100% justified by current research. I'm sure you know that specific
oils aren't "bad", but rather that some have higher risk factors than
others for some people. Your obsession is your own choice and it may
or may not lengthen your life.
